Published as part of the celebrations for Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee in 1888, This book features 14 exquisite hand-painted color plates by Arthur and Harry Payne, Bertha Maguire and F. Sargent. From young girl to grieving widow, each picture of the milestones in the Queen's long life is framed with delicate flower painting in typical Victorian style. Fourteen colour plates, Gilt decoration and lettering to spine and boards. All Edges gilt. Boards bevelled. Floral endpapers.  A few pages are chipped. Light page toning and some cover soil. 62 pages. Size: 7"x8.5"
